Thank you to all those people who are nice non-attention seeking people and have watched my work &/or have left nice remarks.

Commissions
- I am NOT available for commission. This stands indefinitely unless you've got a lot of money to hand over (read: if you're a student or on a waitress type income you really won't be able to afford it. I work a nice day job that pays better than you will) or I know you in person.
- That is not a license to rip my work (I don't take kindly to this).

Patterns
- My patterns are NOT for sale nor do I freely distribute them. If they're not declared as a commercial patterns, then I put too much time into creating it to give it away. Your intentions may be honest, but a lot of people's are not. Don't be self-righteous and think you're an exception and ask for them.

If you need a pattern or a design, refer to the commercial patterns books i.e. Vogue, McCall's, Simplicty, Burda, New Look etc. If you don't know what they are then use a search engine.

Miscellaneous
The internet is full of idiots and I've developed a real hatred of it. Hence unless you've got a proper business proposition (i.e. a highly paid contract), or prove to be an interesting person (highly unlikely) then I'm really not interesed in knowing you. Get a life and get off your computer.

I agree, what is available for menswear today is pathetic. Looking to remedy that myself!

I really like your fashion sense. It irks me to no end that so much clothing that's made today doesn't have any real character to it (and it falls apart if you sneeze, too). I like how much attitude your clothing has, if that makes any sense.

I am turning my attention to men's clothing as what is available today is just PATHETIC. Most of the positive influences in my life have been male, yet the clothing available to them lacks the strength of character and the personality required, it's all a little too effeminate. I want to correct this. /Quote

Oh please do! I cannot wait to see this. I am a male whom is learning to sew, and every thing is so female based I can't stand it. =(

At first I want to thank you for the watch :)

I looked at your gallery, and I love your style a lot. I always wanted to make some stuff of that style as well - although my own gallery is completely different :D

But I have many ideas and I hope that I can make them real when I finished some other things ;)

I am really impressed with your work. I really like how you are able to blend all those different types of styles.

Why thank you! For the graffiti as well! (It injects a more human element into the whole thing). ;)

Though you forgot the mincing hand movements, the kissy kissy expressions and the flouncing around behind the counter...

Just thought I'd return the favor and graffiti your account's comments like you did mine. Careful now, you might give the impression of visitors to my site that I actually enjoy DA.

In any case, your current work is fabulous. Imagine me saying that with a lisp while doing an enthusiastic swash of my hand. I think that's how the paucity of males in the fashion business say it. In any case, my mannerism is the complete polar opposite of that when I say that your stuff kicks fucking ass. And I only use the word "fuck" when I mean a great degree of severity! ;)

I love your designs, my kind of clothing! You should do costumes for sci-fi movies... :aww: (I bet you never heard that one before, huh? :P )

How I envy you! To have the time and money to create these designs and make reality of your ideas...

It's been really inspirational to look through your gallery! I've to the sewing virus back again... :XD:
I don't tend to copy other peoples designs - you don't have to get nervous... ;P
Too bad you don't do commissions any more though... :hmm: You should work with this!

Well... I bet people like me tell you things like this like all the time and you don't need to hear it again... But I figured I'd leave a comment since I'm going to watch you... Excuses for the lack of imagination in the art om commenting...

Thank you. :)

In answer to your question: Nope. It was a waste of my time and didn't include anything that could not be read -in a more comprehensive manner- in one's own time from books.

Hello there,

Yes I do commissions. I don't tend to sell any of my pre-made work these days as items are mostly made for paticular people or they are snapped up by someone as soon as they are presented for a first viewing (which isn't this page). I also don't sell work which uses copyrighted logos, those are done for the sake of art alone.

If you want something made, well the basics go like this:
- What type of garment? (skirt? shirt? vest? bustier?)
- What type of style? (Industrial/military or elegant formal wear)
- What colours or scheme?
- Other add ons or features?

Design is also done for the individual person. This is for a number of reasons:
- What suits one person may not suit another, be that in the colour scheme or the look of the wearer. i.e. you can greatly minimise the shortness or largeness of a person with some careful consideration.
- It also ensures that garments are one of a kind.

As for prices, they can be prohibitive for two reasons. 1. I will only use good quality materials, which cost me quite a bit. 2. The nature of the work e.g. intricacy, amount of materials, ability to source supplies etc. For example, anything with Hazard/ Tiger banding is heavy duty work.

So there you have it. If you are still interested, my email address should now be at the top of the page, just remove and substitute the words accordingly.

If I had even the beginning of a figure for it, I would so totally buy everything in your gallery and wear them on alternating weekends. I'm useless in fashion design and I'm even less talented at sewing, so watching your work is kind of like a dog watching a human open a door: he knows how it works, he just can't do it himself.

I'm sure you've been asked before, and I'm sure it's written down somewhere, but do you sell your work/do commissions, and if you do, what are your prices and how would I go about buying/commissioning you?

I'm in! :p

Quite honestly, it has long since reached the point where I just want to mind my own business and get on with creating things for the sake of doing so because I can. I don't actually care if no one sees my gear, just so long as the person who owns it appreciates it.

Best attempt at using

:
"I don't actually think DevianTart do the community thing. To me that just looks like the guy's blowing his own trumpet in a rather invasive and irritating manner, i.e. trying to get friend adds for the sake of it.

That and he's favourited a mix of mediocre and very good VNV fan art... and oh-so obviously hasn't taken a look through my gallery else a stack of my stuff. Even on the off chance he's has had a look, it certainly isn't very winning to see he's totally ignored my "contrubution to the glory of the nation", yet wants another name chalked up on his list. There's even a goddamn disclaimer under the DA help topics which says comments in a person's account are FOR AND ABOUT THAT PERSON ONLY.

And fer crying out loud, what is it with VNV fans having to run around doing the peace-love-and-flowers sh*t?! Grow the hell up, it's a band who make music. END OF STORY.

I am also starting to hate this place. I create stuff, I don't get in people's faces and don't want them in mine. What's your excuse for using this place?! You've got your own webhosting!!!!"

I have no idea what it is with hippy goths and VNV. It's disturbing, and--though selfish indeed--it ruins the experience for me. Like you said, it's a band that makes music--and when they're not making music they're out committing acts of debauchery like any normal human being should do.

I'm glad you drew the same conclusion I have about DeviantArt and its sphere of hollow feelings covered in a thick shell of pretentious, crusty bullshit.

And, to answer your final question: I use DeviantArt to primarily keep tabs on people like you to see your works. I have a few old friends who still insist on using this site as well, so there's no way around it; however, 90% of the people on my "watch list" is just an ostensibility. I only merely know the people from various places other than DeviantArt.

The same can be said for MySpace. I don't "use" it as much as I just maintain a comatose presence that serves as testament that I keep myself "connected" to others outside of online communities such as Weltfunk, GoonFleet, et cetera.

Tell you what-- If I manage to nab a server for a project I'll be doing soon, I will lend you space with which to work. No quota required, free of charge.

In fact, I could probably get you a free account with my friend's server. It's the same one that hosts weltfunk.net and mandos.us. It's free hosting without the bane of ads or being shoved into an otherwise undesireable community environment.
